Mercedes remains committed to its S-Class is a veritable showcase of technology, equipped with the latest technologies for the automotive industry. In their attempt to do so, has presented a variation of your call COMMANDS SplitView, which allows the driver and the passenger can watch simultaneously two different images from the navigation equipment and entertainment.
Broadly speaking, without going into too much technological aspects (I picture and sound do not understand much), the system works as follows: the screen at once the two images superimposed, but a filter that makes each pixel one of the 2 planes can see only seen from the left or right, whichever you want to view.
In this way, and serving as an example, the driver may be checking the browser while at the same time the person traveling at his side can continue watching a DVD. Undoubtedly, a good technological breakthrough that we hope will spread in a few years in the framework. Mercedes will start to bid in the summer of 2009.
